In the late 1940s, the Parker fountain pen company decided to try to expand and develop a new type of subminiature camera. It was released in 1949 under the name Parker Stellar, and was a masterpiece of design and function. Unfortunately, only about 100 examples were made before the project was cancelled for financial reasons. The Parker Stellar is a very compact camera for eight 13x16mm images on a 147mm strip of unperforated 16mm film, it is equipped with 4.5/37mm lens in a rotary shutter with three aperture settings. The offered example is in beautiful condition, the film cartridge is not included. It is one of the rarest subminiature cameras existing.
