One of the mythical items within the Nikon rangefinder system - the black paint Nikon Model S. According to some sources, in early 1950s Life magazine ordered 20 sets of the new Nikon camera for its staff - they were requested in black. Out of these, only three cameras are known to exist nowadays. The offered camera no.6108685 is the best example of these three and it is shown in Rotoloni's 'The Complete Nikon Rangefinder System' on page 93. It is in excellent condition, with an attractive, minimal patina around the edges, it comes with a matching, all-black paint Nikkor-S.C no.331242. It is a unique opportunity for serious Nikon collectors!
