Leica M2 grey paint

In 1960, twenty M2 grey-painted cameras (nos. 1005751-1005770) were delivered to the US Air Force in Germany. The offered camera, no. 1105769, is in beautiful, original, and working condition, with only minor traces of patina around the edges and tiny bubbles appearing in the paint. Only about 12 cameras are believed to still exist. The grey M2 is one of the rarest production Leica ever made. All of these cameras were delivered to U.S.A.F.E. Wiesbaden on June 9th, 1960. Not only is the grey M2 one of the rarest Leica cameras ever made, but it is also one of the most attractive, especially with the minimal patina like the offered example.
