Manufacture Year : c.1941
the camera was given to Ludwig Leitz on 14.10.1941 (copy of Leitz sales book attached). The camera is different to all other IIId cameras in several aspects: Internal design for rewind-unlock completely different from all serial IIIc and IIId models, also winding-gear and rewind-crank including spool-roll (attached is an expert opinion by Ottmar Michaely including photographs of the interior of the camera). The special construction of this unique camera and the fact, that the camera was delivered to Ludwig Leitz lend this prototype a particular importance. Including a Summitar 2/5cm with very early blue coating, possible also a prototype without serial number, cap. Also: mint Elmar 4/9cm in black/chrome no.454191 with early blue coating, red maker's box, caps. This lens too was delivered to Ludwig Leitz on 21.10.1938, copy of the sales book of Leitz company is attached
