A sought-after black paint M2 from a rare production batch (serial number below one million, but no rewind button). The camera was delivered on 28.04.1960 to Tiranty, Paris. It shows an amazing, beautiful patina, with brassing on the edges and small bubbles appearing in the paint. According to the previous owner, Henri Cartier-Bresson initially purchased the set; it was then resold because Bresson preferred to work with a 50mm lens on an M3. Included with the camera is an original export certificate from Spécialités Tiranty.
