Kristall IIa Staibryte

The first camera built in stainless steel. The pre-series of 10 cameras of the IIa model later produced was made of heavy nickel-plated steel and bore the wrong logo "staibryte" instead of "staybrite". Some of these devices have on the front a small brand with the letters K2 enclosed in a circle; some authors associate this mark with the conquest of the K2 summit by Italian climbers, but this hypothesis is uncertain. The offered camera is in excellent condition, comes with a matching chrome Optical-Vegar 3.5/5cm (M39 mount, in good condition with original cap, missing infinity lock), and a leather case.
