Very interesting and rare Contax I pre-series, with all early features such as the black meter scale, rangefinder window type, nickel round tripod plate, etc., the serial number starts with a 'V' (matching serial number on the back) most probably for Versuch (Experiment in German), note also the absence of accessory shoe on the top plate and no Zeiss logo on the front leather, it is in excellent condition and working order, together with an extremely early Tessar 2.8/5cm no.1309719 from the first batch of lenses with Contax mount (1932).
